The planned business programme of the Forum of Innovative Financial Technologies FINOPOLIS 2019 includes over 20 events, with three plenary discussions, 17 sections, partner roundtables and open lectures being held during the two days of the Forum, 10–11 October. The sessions will address the most pressing issues and trends in the industry, including payment services, blockchain, cybersecurity, use of quantum technologies, bigtech, artificial intelligence, use of cloud services and others. The organizer of FINOPOLIS 2019 is the Bank of Russia and the operator is the Roscongress Foundation.
The
official opening ceremony is scheduled for 10 October, with two plenary
discussions to be held on the same day. The plenary session “Regulatory Fast Track
for Fintech” will focus on competitiveness of banking and fintech,
international experience in fintech licensing, and the prospects for regulation
by type of activity. The second plenary discussion “Immersive Fintech: Personal
Experience or Illusion?” will look at the personalization of digital financial
services, the possibilities of individual solutions and platforms, as well as
the topic of loyalty.
The
plenary session on the second day will cover development of financial
technologies up to 2035. The participants will try to predict the development
vector and discuss how the labour market will change and what new competencies
will be in demand.
On
the second day of the Forum, representatives of business and academia will also
give open lectures to guests and Forum participants on topical aspects of
innovative financial technologies.
Each
year, an important aspect
of FINOPOLIS consists in events for young people. 7–11
October will see the activities of the FINODAYS Youth Programme. The central
event of FINODAYS will be a Hackathon, during which student teams will be
offered a chance to work out case solutions from leading players on the financial
market in such areas as fintech, payment systems, creation of chat bots,
solutions for the insurance market and others. In addition,
events are planned for
participants to develop their soft and hard skills, workshops by
leading financial market players, networking sessions and sports and
entertainments. All the participants in the Youth Programme will be able to take
part, free of charge, in the FINOPOLIS 2019 programme.
